A considered response to place.

A Goan beach shack theme carried through an entire apartment at Eon Waterfront Phase 2, designed around a family separated by distance and the objects they wanted to keep close.

Scope of work Selection of site, design, execution.

SALIENT FEATURES
  1. No sharp edges anywhere in the home.
  2. Effective long-distance discussion with the daughters throughout the design process.
  3. A Goan beach shack theme favoured by the client, with everything designed around it.
  4. Bamboo and coconut branches used to give the theme authenticity.
  5. A beloved wedding sari worked into the decor.
  6. A world map designed with embedded LED lights.
  7. A simple altar with a stained glass painting of the Holy Family.
  8. The client's love of brass showcased in an innovative manner on a ladder.
  9. A very user-friendly and convenient kitchen.

Choosing Harshila was one of the best decisions we made. She never got tired of explaining everything very patiently to me. Even for curtain selection she showed us so many shops, so much variety. Even today so many who see our house say that it is done so tastefully.
